Kimberly graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Bridgewater State University in 2011. She moved to Connecticut soon after and began work as a Quality Assurance Technician at Country Pure Foods, a large juice processor. After four years, Kimberly was promoted to Quality Systems Coordinator. As the Quality Systems Coordinator, Kimberly oversaw the plant’s Quality Systems, HACCP plan, and became the pant’s SQF Practitioner. During her time at Country Pure Foods, Kimberly was the chairperson of the Safety Committee and developed, implemented, and presented the plant’s sensory program. Kimberly has received her HACCP certificate, SQF Practitioner’s certificate, and completed an online Proficiency of Food Science program at Washington State University.
As the Quality & Food Safety Manager at Boston Baking, Kimberly is responsible for the hygienic and sanitary production of food throughout the facility. She also monitors Boston Baking’s Food Safety plan to make sure the food our customers receive is safe. Kimberly monitors the safety of our employees by ensuring all safety programs are in place and up to date. In the long term, Kimberly plans to build her management experience and elevate Boston Baking’s food quality and safety standards to the next level.
In her free time, Kimberly enjoys bike riding, hiking, and bowling with her husband and young son.
