Carla De Pina
Carla came to Boston Baking as a temporary employee in 2008 as a line worker in the shipping department. In 2014, she was promoted to team leader of the Stacy’s Shipping department where she very quickly showed her intelligence and strength in taking on new tasks. Carla moved towards supporting the entire management team when she was again promoted to Office Operations Coordinator mid-2016. Late 2018, Carla yet again proved her ability to learn new tasks and was promoted to Production Supervisor.
As the Production Supervisor, Carla is responsible for on-site supervision of the entire daily production activities from mixing to packing and maintaining all required documentation and production records according to all internal standard operating procedures, company policies and regulatory requirements for food safety.
Carla is originally from Cape Verde and came to the United States at the age of 19.
Her first job in the United States was here at Boston Baking where her commitment and dedication to her work has allowed her to progress professionally within the company. She is the mother of 2 beautiful boys and loves to spend time with her family during her free time. Carla aspires to go to Business school in the near future and continue growing in the food industry.
