Hello, my name is Julee Robey-Boschetto and I am the President of Boston Baking, Inc.
Welcome to our website!!
Along with my staff, which includes my step-daughter, Kristen (our VP of Sales); my husband, Bob (our Director of Operations); and our dedicated employees, we would like to welcome you to our President’s Page.
We always strive to give our customers the best possible product at the best possible value. We are constantly working on improving and expanding our line of products and services.
The President’s Page is an opportunity for you to share your ideas about our products. I will also be offering my suggestions and ideas on a variety of products.
We passed on the first try!!
Yes, it’s true, we had our first 3rd Party “Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety Systems Audit” which includes a HACCP Plan on Friday, October 1st and we passed with a 96.7%. It took us 10 months and one full time employee dedicated to just the audit to get us ready. If you Google 3rd Party Food Safety Audit, you’ll get an idea of the tremendous amount of paperwork, documentation, employee training and record storage that this audit involves. But the hard work paid off for us; 2 hours after passing the audit, Kristen, our VP of Sales, had a Purchase Order from a major food chain.
Everyone at Boston Baking is so excited to have this 3rd Party Audit and we feel very positive about our future growth.
The other thing we’ve been working on is the Co-Packing or Production Partnering arm of our business. We have signed on 2 new Production Partners and we have 3 potential Partners who have scheduled test bakes over the next 4 weeks.
Now on to the Fall Season!
Our Pumpkin Bagel and Cranberry/Orange Bagel are in full production. Nothing like a toasted Pumpkin Bagel with light cream cheese or a Cranberry/Orange Bagel toasted with pumpkin cream cheese. Our Snack Food Division is also offering a Pumpkin Muffin and Pumpkin Loaf Cake. The Loaf Cakes are offered in a variety of flavors, but the Pumpkin Loaf is especially nice this time of year with a hot cup of tea.
Keep those emails coming! I’ve heard from Sandy in Dedham who likes our Blondie Brownie with a glass of skim milk while she relaxes at the end of a day. I also heard from Mike in Quincy who takes himself out for a sub sandwich once a week and chooses our Chocolate Whoopie for his desert. Send your comments and suggestions to info@bostonbaking.com. My friends, it’s getting cold out there; I’ve already asked my husband to turn on the heat (you can imagine how that went). As you get bundled up for the colder weather, keep in mind that Boston Baking will always work hard to give you the best possible product, “Bake Shop Quality” and outstanding service.
